Sherwin-Williams Natural Choice SW 7011 is an off-white on the warm side, with an LRV of 73, the brightness of an off-white: it will not darken a room, and it will not pass for the trim either. Our method reads its undertone as a subtle yellow-beige, and the measured lean tips a hair further toward green than any of its strip-mates, which is why it never goes peach and can look faintly khaki in cool light. Natural Choice measures warm, with a modest yellow lean and a small but real pull toward green: the largest green-side lean among the whites on strip 254, and the opposite direction from Natural Linen SW 9109, which pulls toward red. On a wall that gives it a greige, slightly stony quality. Against white trim it reads as a pale putty; beside warm oak it warms up and looks beige; beside cool gray tile or in a north window the green side shows and it can read faintly khaki. It never goes pink. Oyster White SW 7637 is hard to tell apart from it, Arrowroote SW 9502 likewise, and White Duck SW 7010 is a touch lighter with less of the green.
Natural Choice in north, south, east and west light
In a north-facing room Natural Choice goes grayer and its green side comes forward, so a north wall can read as a pale khaki-gray; it still feels warmer than a plain gray would, but it is the exposure to sample first if the green worries you. South light brings out the beige and it reads as a warm putty in the afternoon. East rooms see it warmest in the morning; a west window adds a little gold late in the day without turning it peach. Lamp bulbs between 2700K and 3000K keep the beige in it; 4000K bulbs push it toward gray-green.

On walls, Natural Choice is the warm white for a house that must not go pink: living rooms, hallways and bedrooms take it well, and it holds up in an open plan with a lot of wood. On kitchen cabinets it reads as a soft putty with a green-gray edge, a natural partner for wood floors, soapstone and black or brass hardware; it looks off beside bright white appliances. In a bathroom it wants warm light and cream or wood finishes, since white tile and chrome bring out the khaki. Skip it for a room with cool blue-grays, where it turns green by contrast, and for trim, where it is too deep against most walls.
