Who is responsible
Emsora, MB, company code 307370471, Tujų g. 38-2, Raudondvario k., LT-14257 Vilniaus r., Lithuania, runs TryMyHome and is the controller of any personal data described here. Questions go to support@trymyhome.com.
What we do not do
The color pages can be read without an account and without giving us anything. We do not sell personal data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never show one person's photos or renders to another.
Your photos and renders
The visualizer works on a photo you upload of your room or house. To make a render, the photo is sent to our rendering provider, Google's Gemini image model, together with the color you chose, and the result comes back to us. Photos and renders are stored only with an account, so you can return to them, and only for as long as you keep them: delete a project or the account and they are removed. We do not use your photos to train models, and we do not share them with anyone beyond the provider that renders them.
Upload only photos you have the right to use. A photo of your own home is yours; a photo of somebody else's home needs their permission.
Accounts and payments
An account holds your email address, your saved projects and your render allowance. When paid plans are offered, payment is processed by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers. We keep what a subscription needs, which is the plan, its dates and the invoices the law requires us to hold.
Analytics
We use two counting tools to see which colors people look up and which pages are worth building next.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) records page views, roughly where in the world a visit came from, the device type and how visitors arrived. It sets cookies in your browser and processes data on Google servers, including in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage and we never see a full one.
Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd.) counts the same page views without cookies and without tracking anyone between sites.
Both are counting tools. Neither is used to identify you, and neither is used to decide what you are shown.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets cookies as described above. Beyond that, the site keeps only what an account needs to stay signed in, and small settings in your browser's local storage, such as the last room you were comparing. Those never leave your device.
One case is worth naming because it involves a photograph. If you ask to sign in with Google or Apple part way through a render, your browser has to leave this site and come back, so the photo you had chosen is held in your browser's own storage for the round trip and is deleted the moment it is restored. It is also deleted when you sign out, and it is discarded after an hour if you do not come back. It stays on your device throughout and is never sent to us.
Where images come from
Renders and room photographs on the color pages load from images.trymyhome.com, our own image host on Cloudflare, so no third party sees which colors you look at. Sample product images come from the same host.
Links that pay us
Sample links point to Samplize, and those links are or will become affiliate links. If you follow one, Samplize sees the visit and may set its own cookie to record that you arrived from here. It never costs you anything extra.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, to serve pages and block abuse. We do not use those logs for analytics.
How long anything is kept
Photos, renders and projects: until you delete them or your account. Account data: while the account exists, then removed within 30 days. Invoices: as long as accounting law requires. Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics, and for as long as the project exists in Ahrefs.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or receive a copy of it. Write to the address above. If you are in the EU and believe we have not answered properly, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate or the supervisory authority in your own country.
Children
The site is not aimed at children, and accounts are for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
This policy may change; the date at the top changes with it. The terms of use say how the site may be used.
